Junior Jam: Where Young Musicians Take the Stage
For musicians aged 8-18, Junior Jam provides an inspiring, supportive space to build confidence through live performance. Unlike traditional concerts, this is an electrifying jam session where young artists get to play alongside each other and a band of professional musicians – no rehearsals required!
Each jam is a unique experience of musical bonding. Kids who may have never met before form impromptu bands on stage, united by their passion for music. With seasoned artists guiding them, the young performers get a taste of setting up gear, proper mic technique, working with a sound engineer, and the thrill of playing for a live audience.
While practice is invaluable, there’s nothing quite like the experience of performing your craft out loud for others to hear. Junior Jam gives young musicians that developmental opportunity in an encouraging, low-pressure environment designed to nurture their growth.
The Junior Jam has been an amazing experience for my son! To be able to play in front of a crowd, collaborate with other children and gain valuable knowledge from the house band (professional musicians) has made my son a confident performer. The set up, sound, organization of the Junior Jam is so professional I can’t think of a comparable experience. My son loves it!

How It Works
Launched in October 2022, Junior Jam typically runs from 1:30pm – 4:30pm to a full crowd of enthused spectators. Up to 15 young musicians can sign up in advance, submitting the songs they’d like to play. The jam leaders learn the requested songs, distribute the music, and then it’s showtime!
With professionals backing them and an energizing atmosphere, the young artists get to live out their rock star dreams. They’ll walk away with priceless memories, a boost of confidence, and inspiration to keep honing their musical voice.
Does your child love music? Sign them up for the next exhilarating, one-of-a-kind Junior Jam and allow their talents to be center stage!
Community work
Bringing music to the community has always been part of my work. Teaming up with YPWD Berkshire (Young People With Dementia) and running their choir for the last 12 years has humbled me, taught me so much about the value of singing And how it brings joy to people suffering with dementia.
Readipop is also a charity I have worked with for just as long. They bring music to the community, work with underprivileged children and create a safe space for musicians to thrive.
If you are looking for some community support, I would love to be a part of bringing music to you.
